Michael Joseph Viera was born in June of 1978 and grew up in Vineland, New Jersey. An early love of art classes drew Michael to pursue a career in computer animation and after graduating from East Stroudsberg High School in Pennsylvania, Michael decided to attend the Art Institute of Philadelphia. There he majored in Media Arts and Animation, graduating in the winter of 2003, and receiving an award for Outstanding Achievement within his program.

After graduation, Michael struck out on his own, traveling across the country working freelance jobs for different companies. He was able to obtain a position with WireImage (wireimage.com) which allowed him to work at such prestigous events as the Sundance Film Festival and The Academy Awards. In an effort to improve his skills and techniques, Michael returned to the Art Institute of Philadelphia in 2005. He is currently persuing a second degree in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics while working as a computer technician. He hopes to continue working with commercials and films after he graduates in 2009.
